Anand (Andy) Gupta, M.D., F.A.C.G.
Dr. Anand (Andy) Gupta is certified by American Board of Internal Medicine in specialty of Gastroenterology and Hepatology (1997, 2007 and 2017).
Dr. Gupta has performed over 40,000 endoscopic procedures.
Dr. Gupta is a fellow of American College of Gastroenterology. He is an active member of various national societies such as American College of Gastroenterology, American Gastroenterological Association, and American Society of Gastrointestinal Endoscopists. Locally, he is a member of Kentucky Medical Association and Greater Louisville Medical Society.
Dr. Gupta completed his medical education in New Delhi, India and later completed Internal Medicine training at UMDN-J Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital, New Brunswick, NJ. He completed his fellowship in gastroenterology and hepatology at the prestigious Mt. Sinai Hospital in New York, NY, where he also received extensive therapeutic endoscopy training. He has published articles in numerous peer-reviewed scientific journals. He regularly attends local and national scientific meetings. He also participates in scientific speaking engagements.
Dr. Gupta is a licensed physician in the state of Kentucky and Indiana. He has admitting privileges at several area hospitals.
